Itinerary

Welcome to Senegal! Upon arrival at the Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Take some time to relax and settle in before joining a welcome dinner to meet your fellow travelers.

After breakfast, we'll embark on a city tour of Dakar, visiting highlights such as the African Renaissance Monument, the colorful markets, and the vibrant neighborhoods. In the afternoon, we'll take a ferry to Goree Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historical significance. We'll explore the island and learn about its role in the transatlantic slave trade. Later, we'll continue to the Pink Lake (Lake Retba) for a mesmerizing sunset and a chance to witness the lake's unique pink hues.

Today, we'll travel north to Saint-Louis, the former capital of Senegal and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll explore the charming colonial architecture, take a boat ride through the Langue de Barbarie National Park, and experience the vibrant local culture.

In the morning, we'll visit the Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary, a paradise for birdwatchers and home to millions of migratory birds. Afterward, we'll continue to Kaolack, known for its bustling markets and vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy an authentic local experience and indulge in the flavors of Senegalese cuisine.

Today, we'll cross the border into Gambia and make our way to the capital city, Banjul. Explore the city's landmarks, including the Arch 22, National Museum, and bustling Albert Market. In the afternoon, we'll take a relaxing boat ride along the Gambia River, enjoying the serene surroundings and observing wildlife.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Makasutu Culture Forest, a private reserve offering scenic walks, birdwatching, and encounters with the local wildlife. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Tanji Fishing Village, where you can witness traditional fishing methods and interact with the friendly locals.
